two live performance recordings by ParaHal (Paramutual Operator and Hal McGee)

ParaHal Live at Cafe Bohemia #1 (8:56)

Mono audio document of duo performance with Paramutual Operator (Jenifer Abell) at Cafe Bohemia, 937 Central Avenue, Saint Petersburg, Florida, Saturday, March 31, 2007. This is the first improvisational piece that we played that night, with Jen on flute and me, Hal McGee, on Moog Rogue synthesizer. Audio is taken by from the Hi8 videotape taken by Gabe of Space Program. The concert was presented by The Saint Petersburg Institute Of Noise. It was a great evening of experimental music and noise, with performances by Hunker Down Roy, James Kiwi, Microwave Windows, Boy + Girl, and Blast. The sound quality is not the greatest, but I hope and think that this recording will give you the flavor and feeling of the event. We also played "Momentum Of A New Self-Image" -- see and listen below.
