Hal McGee recorded live in performance, Tuesday evening, October 7, 2008, at the Birdhouse, Northeast 8th Avenue and Northeast 8th Street, Gainesville, Florida, (kickoff show for Ironing and Hal McGee's Journey To Light And Progress tour). McGee used a shortwave radio, two Sony M-100MC microcassette recorders (loaded with circuit bent sounds and sounds recorded earlier that day during McGee's usual daily activities), a Moog MF-107 FreqBox (analog oscillator module hard-synced and frequency modulated by one of the microcassette recorders), and an Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi distortion/sustainer pedal.
