Skull was the fifth Phinney/McGee tape release, recorded June 15-17, 1990 at Chris Phinney's home, Harsh Reality Studio, Memphis, Tennessee. Four long tracks of intense, cold, gnarly, abstract electronic music forged in an improvisational mode. Phinney on Moog Prodigy, Korg Poly 800 , ARP Axxe, and Moog Rogue synthesizers, Engineering, Mix; McGee on ARP Axxe and Moog Rogue. Originally released on my Electronic Cottage label.
